Well, this book tells the story of a girl and a boy who meet one morning in the school bus.

The girl, called Eleanor, just moved to the area and is new in school. She looks strange and people give her weird looks because she doesn't dress like everyone else does. She wears super big T-shirts and pants and the strangest accessories. She also has got the biggest amount of red curly hair you'll ever see and is not as thin as the other girls.

Park is my favorite character. In my opinion, he is super cute. He's half Asian. His mom was born in Korea. He's got black hair and pale skin and wears a lot of black clothes.

The first day of school, Eleanor gets on the bus but she can't find a seat due to everyone already has friends and someone to sit with. The seat next to Park is free so he eventually lets her sit there. They don't talk at first but eventually they start talking and become friends, even though everyone in school teases Eleanor and makes fun of her.

I have a soft spot for Eleanor. She's living a tough life and basically Park is the best thing in it. She has four siblings, I think. They all live together with their mother and their stepfather. Her father is absent in her life. He doesn't care about them. Her stepfather is the one who brings food to their table and that is why, in my opinion, even though he's a violent and hateful person, Eleanor's mom stays with him.

I loved this book because it reminded me of when I was in middle school or high school and I had trouble with my family, all I wanted to do was to escape for a while. I think Eleanor found that in Park, a space where she could go without her problematic family and just feel better for a while. I just love these characters so much and I love them together even more.

It is just a sweet story of young love. I think everyone will find their young selves reflected in these characters, falling in love for the first time.

And the end. My poor heart. It was sad and at the same time it wasn't. I was so sad when I saw what was going to happen and then when she wouldn't write to him or anything, but when that message finally got to Park... I was just so happy I don't even have words. I feel like the writer wants to leave open the possibility to the reader to imagine the ending they want but at the same time to treasure and to save those words to herself. To me, Park drove there and met with her again and they managed to stay together forever and ever.
