I read this book and I think people who have seen and enjoyed the movies
would like to know the rest of the story.
This book was written years after The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe but the story itself happens before Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy go to Narnia. In fact, this is the first story that will ever happen in Narnia.
This books tells the story of the creation of Narnia, which, I thought, was beautiful. How Aslan appears and why is he so important in Narnia. This book tells the story of how young Professor Diggory is related to Narnia and how he knew about it.
It is very interesting because it shows a lot of things you see in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and explains where they came from or how they were created and why those places or those things are so magical. For example, the lamp-post and the wardrobe.
It also shows that Narnia is not the only magic world existing, much less the first one. Turns out there are a lot of worlds and Diggory's uncle found the passage that connects them all. That's how Diggory ends up not only going to Narnia but helping with its creation.
You can also see who the firsts King and Queen of Narnia were.
I thought it was so cool to find out more about Narnia and its creation and to see how it connects with the rest of the books.
