Girl Online & Girl Online: On Tour by Zoe Sugg

Feb 17, 2017

I've got mixed emotions about these books. I love Zoe and I don't think they're bad. I think they're just not the type of books I enjoy the most. I like more fantasy books than teenage drama books.

I understand the fist book needed to exist in order to make the second one and the series in general but I think it definitely was the less entertaining one and the corniest book I've ever read. I'm not saying that's bad but that's one of the reasons I didn't enjoy it that much.

Girl Online is about how Penny and Noah met. Girl Online: On Tour is about Pennt going on tour with Noah and them developing their relationship with some problems in their way.

The second book was definitely better with more interesting things going on all the time and with more not only lovely characters, you will fall in love with, but also with more hate-able characters with bad intentions that basically just will tear everything apart. This book was not as predictable as the first one and it was easier for me to read it since I got more involved with the main characters (and other characters) than in the first one.

I feel like the second book actually had a story to tell and the first one just exists to put you in context so you understand better the story in the second book. I would have released the second one as the first one and the first one as a cute side story about how Penny and Noah met.

At the end of Girl Online: On Tour you're left with many questions. Now Penny's future is unpredictable, not only with her career and her school life but also with Noah and her love life. I want to read Girl Online: Going Solo because I'm curious about what's going to happen to Penny and her friends now cause honestly I don't have a single clue.

If you didn't like the first one and thought it was a little boring I can tell you it is getting better and you might want to give it a second try with the second book.
